Dianna Russini, a former reporter for The Athletic, has been seen vacationing with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, and their two sons on a luxury cruise.

The family was observed on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas on July 4, appearing affectionate and engaged with one another, according to an eyewitness. They were seen enjoying the pool area, interacting with their children, and engaging in family-oriented activities. Russini was described as being in good spirits, dancing with one of her sons.

This cruise marks Russini's first public appearance in months, following a photo scandal involving New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel. In March, photos emerged of Russini and Vrabel holding hands and embracing at a resort in Sedona, Arizona. Despite initial claims from both parties that friends were present, multiple eyewitnesses stated they were alone. Another set of photos, released in April, showed Russini and Vrabel appearing intimate at a New York City bar in March 2020.

The scandal led to Russini's resignation from The Athletic on April 14, with her citing a "media frenzy" impacting the review process. Vrabel addressed the situation in an April 21 press conference, describing "difficult" but "positive" conversations with his family. He later mentioned seeking counseling.

Russini's last public appearance with her husband before the cruise was on Mother's Day, when they were photographed kissing outside their New Jersey home. In contrast, Vrabel attended a wedding in New York City on July 3 with his wife, Jennifer.

The week-long cruise departed New Jersey on June 28 and returned on July 5, with stops in Florida and the Bahamas. Ticket prices for the cruise start at $1,475 per person.
