Diane Kruger, the acclaimed actress known for her roles in "Troy" and "National Treasure," recently marked her 50th birthday, attributing her continued youthful appearance to a dedicated focus on diet, fitness, and self-acceptance. Kruger, who began her career as a model in the 1990s, has maintained a remarkably consistent appearance over three decades.

Following the birth of her daughter, Nova Tennessee, Kruger re-engaged with fitness to prepare for demanding action sequences in the 2019 film "The 335." She described the process as daunting but ultimately exhilarating, committing to rigorous training just six months postpartum. Her workout regimen includes boxing, running, and two-hour training sessions incorporating exercises like ellipticals, burpees, box jumps, sit-ups, planks, and squats with 20-pound weights.

Kruger has spoken about how her metabolism changed around age 32, prompting a more traditional approach to exercise compared to her earlier ballet and ballroom dancing background. "I dreaded it," she admitted regarding the necessity of working out to support her diet, but she learned to embrace it.

Beyond physical exertion, Kruger emphasizes a holistic approach to aging. She has stated a desire to "embrace" natural changes and prioritize self-love and acceptance. To combat fatigue, she supplements her diet with vegan multivitamins. Her approach to nutrition involves preparing healthy meals from scratch daily for her family, prioritizing efficiency and minimizing food waste. Kruger told Grazia, "We're healthy, I'm always trying to be rational about what I buy and what we need. I hate throwing away food."

Her daily meals typically include a protein-rich breakfast of poached eggs, avocado, and multigrain bread, a salmon-based lunch with vegetables, and chicken or veal for dinner. Kruger told Women & Home that while she appreciates skincare treatments, her priority lies in practices that promote overall wellness and vitality. "Keeping fit, healthy, and strong for myself and my daughter is my main priority," she stated, advocating for balance and enjoyment in her diet and fitness routine.
