‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 to Premiere October 30

The second season of the Paramount+ series “Dexter: Resurrection” is set to premiere on Friday, October 30, at 3:01 a.m. ET. The series, starring Michael C. Hall as the titular character, will be available exclusively on Paramount+’s Premium Plan.

The upcoming season finds Dexter navigating a complex dynamic between two distinct killers: one with a long history of notoriety and another who is a new, disruptive force in New York City. Concurrently, Dexter faces a personal struggle with a mid-life crisis, while his son, Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, continues his own path toward justice. Together, father and son confront their darkest challenges.

New additions to the cast for season two include Brian Cox as the New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as the Five Borough Killer. Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson have also joined the ensemble. Desmond Harrington, who previously portrayed Quinn, has been promoted to a series regular.

“Dexter: Resurrection” is part of a slate of programming on Paramount+, which also includes the recently concluded third season of Taylor Sheridan’s spy thriller “Lioness” and the second season of the Tom Hardy-led “MobLand.” Another Sheridan series, “Landman,” is slated for a 2027 return, while the final season of “Yellowjackets” is scheduled to debut in November.

Subscriptions to Paramount+ Premium are available for $13.99 per month or $139.99 annually. While Paramount+ does not directly offer a free trial, the service can be accessed through Amazon Prime Video or Hulu for an additional monthly fee. Paramount+ is also available through YouTube, which may offer a trial period.
