Tragic new details have been revealed following the death of "Big Brother" star Amber Siyavus, who was found unresponsive in a Las Vegas home on Oct. 9. She was 46.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Siyavus was discovered in a bedroom by her aunt, who had become concerned after her niece remained in the same position in bed for over four hours.
Authorities found a white powder and drug paraphernalia near Siyavus' body. Police reported that she was holding what appeared to be a snorting straw and a lighter. When her body was moved, officers discovered aluminum foil with burnt residue and a small plastic bag containing white powder underneath her.
Prescription pills and four doses of Narcan, an overdose reversal medication, were also found among her belongings.
Siyavus' aunt told police that the reality star had traveled to Las Vegas on Oct. 4 to visit her mother. The aunt stated that Siyavus had no suicidal thoughts and was in the process of relocating her son to Nevada. While Siyavus had a history of drug use, her aunt indicated that she had previously attended rehab for addiction.
Siyavus competed on Season 8 of the CBS competition series "Big Brother" in 2007, where she finished in seventh place. During her time on the show, she earned the nickname "Whamber" due to her frequent emotional displays.
Prior to her death, Siyavus had faced legal issues, including a 2020 guilty plea for attempting to resist an officer with a dangerous weapon and a guilty plea for felony forgery concerning Western Union money orders.
