Actor Dennis Quaid has officially put his Los Angeles home on the market for $5.2 million, a move that comes as he has publicly criticized the city's decline. Quaid's five-bedroom, six-bathroom residence in Brentwood Hills spans over 4,000 square feet and is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac.

While Quaid purchased the property in 2017, the current listing price represents a significant financial loss due to inflation, despite being $1.3 million more than his original purchase price. The home features a pool, a patio, and a stargazing terrace, with a contemporary interior design characterized by white and timber tones.
Quaid has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with Los Angeles, stating that the city has been "going downhill" since the 1990s. He expressed concern over the perceived lack of city services despite tax payments and pointed to issues like wildfire management as exposing underlying problems. "People are angry and half angry, and they’re half kind of feel like giving up, to tell you the truth," Quaid told Fox News.
His departure from Los Angeles aligns with a trend of other Hollywood figures who have relocated in recent years. Notable names such as Mark Wahlberg, Dean Cain, and Nicole Kidman have also left the area. Quaid has maintained a primary residence in Tennessee.
