The cause of death for Dennis Haskins, the actor best known for his role as Principal Richard Belding on the sitcom "Saved by the Bell," has been confirmed as Parkinson's disease. Haskins died on September 27 at the age of 75.

His death certificate, obtained by TMZ, also listed irritable bowel syndrome, depression, hypertension, and benign prostatic hyperplasia as significant conditions. He passed away at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California.

Haskins' death was initially confirmed by a longtime friend and caretaker, as reported by WTVC, a news outlet in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. His agent, Jay Schachter, told The Hollywood Reporter that Haskins was a "great person" who "absolutely LOVED" his fans and always had time for them.

Dimples, a karaoke bar in Burbank where Haskins was a regular, revealed in an Instagram post that he had been quietly battling Parkinson's disease for eight years. The post stated that Haskins wished to keep his health struggles private.

Haskins' ex-wife, Sarah Quinones, later confirmed to TMZ that he had been suffering from Parkinson's. She indicated that he had become unresponsive to calls and messages from friends and acquaintances toward the end of his life while he was in an assisted living facility.

Haskins' last public appearance was on December 29, 2018, at a Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs game.
