Denise Richards, 55, has recreated a scene from the 1998 film "Wild Things," in which she famously emerged from a swimming pool. The actress shared images from a new photoshoot that echoes the iconic slow-motion sequence from the erotic thriller.
Richards donned a black swimsuit for the stylized shoot, playfully responding to fan speculation about the scene's inspiration with a winking emoji, suggesting a deliberate callback. After exiting the water, she posed in a sheer lace shirt, a nod to her revealing attire in the original film. "Wild Things," which also starred Neve Campbell, Matt Dillon, and Kevin Bacon, has gained a significant cult following over the years, with Richards' role often cited as her most iconic, alongside "Starship Troopers," "The World Is Not Enough," and "Drop Dead Gorgeous."
The actress recently underwent a comprehensive facial rejuvenation procedure, which included a deep-plane facelift costing approximately $200,000. The surgery, performed by Dr. Ben Talei, also involved a brow lift, upper eye lift, lip lift, and fat grafting from her thighs to her neck and face. Richards shared on the "Dumb Blonde" podcast that her initial consideration was only for her neck, but a friend advised a more complete overhaul.
"The only analogy I could give is like you remodel a house and do one room and the room looks great, but it doesn’t match the rest of the house," she explained regarding the decision to proceed with the full facial work. She praised Dr. Talei's work as "impeccable."
Richards, a mother of three, continues to be active in acting, appearing in "The Bold and the Beautiful" and independent films since her time on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." She has also become a prominent creator on the OnlyFans platform, reportedly earning up to $300,000 per month. This venture has previously involved legal discussions, as Richards in January requested a judge deny a motion by her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, to claim half of her OnlyFans income. Phypers filed for divorce in July 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.
