Denise Richards, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has stated her interest in returning to the Bravo reality series. Richards, 55, who was a full-time cast member for seasons 9 and 10, revealed her willingness to rejoin the show during an appearance on The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show. She mentioned that she made guest appearances in seasons 13 and 15 and would be open to a full-time return.

Richards cited interpersonal dynamics within the cast as a primary reason for her initial departure. "It was a hard thing. I felt like no one liked me, except for Garcelle [Beauvais]. And that's part of why I didn't come back for a third [season]," she explained. She also suggested that her ex-husband, Aaron Phypers, played a role in her decision to leave the show. "But I think he was more worried about himself," she clarified, adding, "He was probably worried that something would come out."

Richards and Phypers have been involved in a contentious divorce and legal proceedings since their separation in July 2024. Their disputes have involved financial and property matters, along with allegations of domestic violence from both parties. Richards was granted a five-year restraining order against Phypers, requiring him to remain a specific distance away from her. However, in February, she was ordered to pay Phypers' attorney fees and provide temporary spousal support. These obligations included $25,000 for divorce proceedings and an additional $5,000 for a forensic accountant. Additionally, Richards was instructed to make monthly payments of $10,000 from March to May 2026, followed by temporary spousal support of $5,000 per month until further court orders.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming its sixteenth season. The upcoming season will feature new cast members Leah Remini and Tracy Tutor. They will join existing cast members Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, and Rachel Zoe. Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly are set to return in supporting roles. Amanda Frances, a money manifestation coach who joined the previous year, will not be returning for the new season.
