Democratic House Candidate Faces Scrutiny Over Endorser's Controversial Statements

Eric Jones, the Democratic candidate for California's 4th Congressional District, has received an endorsement from activist Adina Flores. However, Flores' social media presence includes controversial statements, raising questions about her alignment with Jones' campaign.

Flores, who describes herself as a "civil rights" advocate, has posted content on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Substack that frames political issues through lenses of race, sexual orientation, and alleged secret influences. She has met with Jones multiple times, according to social media posts.

In one video shared on Facebook, Flores stated, "But we’re literally run by the gay Jewish mafia — the Zionists in Sonoma County. The Jews still run the world. That’s where we’re at." She also added, "All our money gets sent to Israel, but nobody wants to talk about that."

In another August Instagram post, Flores wrote, "Evil Jews run the world through Masonic Lodges." She has also targeted public schools, stating in a post earlier this year, "Santa Rosa City Schools is always recruiting for little gay communists. Help save public school enrollment decline by sending your child off to liberal prison indoctrination centers."

Responding to inquiries about Flores' statements, Jones' campaign issued a condemnation of prejudice. "I firmly condemn any and all hate toward our Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities. It has no place in our district. My wife is Jewish, we are raising our kids in a Jewish household, I'm a fierce advocate for our public schools and educators, and I have zero tolerance for hateful commentary toward my neighbors or my family," a campaign spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

Flores' online content also frequently criticizes what she perceives as LGBTQ+ ideology being promoted in institutions like schools and local government. She held up a school-designed rainbow-colored graphic, calling it "rainbow mafia colors" and adding, "If your child is in public school, please remove them because they’re going to be gay and r-tarded."

Flores stated in an Instagram video responding to inquiries that she is a "private citizen" and that her social media accounts are not monetized. "My views are mine & mine alone. I am an unpaid advocate & have never been paid to support a political candidate," she wrote in the post. "I am highly against the two-party system. If I feel someone is a good fit for office, I support them. F--- your gangs! It’s really that simple!"

Flores also mentioned being a former government employee and whistleblower who believes she was forced out due to COVID-19 mask mandates and information shared with parents. She claims to be banned from serving in public roles.

Jones' campaign priorities include affordability, government transparency, and protecting government-run programs. His website lists ending corruption, lowering the cost of living, and resource sustainability in government as key goals. His campaign has received endorsements from progressive groups such as Indivisible and Our Revolution. Jones has spoken about his family's financial struggles, including his father's disability and the family's reliance on Medicaid and food stamps.

Flores' endorsement of Jones came after the resignation of Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif. In her endorsement post, Flores praised Jones for addressing issues like sexual misconduct, referencing allegations against Swalwell, which he denied.
