Demi Lovato Hospitalized for Suspected Allergic Reaction
The entertainer shared on social media that she sought medical attention for a potential allergy, later reassuring fans she is fine.
Demi Lovato was hospitalized on Monday following a health scare, which the singer suspects was an allergic reaction. The 34-year-old entertainer shared an update on her since-deleted Instagram Stories, posting a photo of her arm with an IV drip and a hospital wristband.
"So I'm either allergic to passionfruit or sushi now!" Lovato wrote in the post, according to a report. The singer later reassured her 147 million followers that she was "fine."
The hospitalization occurred shortly after Lovato posted a carousel of recent moments with the caption, "Fall in LA." The collection included a selfie with her husband, Jutes, taken at a movie theater.
In August, Lovato shared images from a birthday trip to the Bahamas, where she was seen modeling a red bikini. During that trip, she also posted a humorous TikTok video of herself planking on the beach with a voiceover requesting not to be contacted, except for TikToks.
Lovato announced her engagement to Jutes, whose legal name is Jordan Lutes, in December 2023. She shared photos from the proposal on Instagram, detailing the pear-shaped diamond ring created with the help of New York City-based jewelry company Material Good. Lovato expressed her excitement about marrying Jutes, calling their time together a "dream come true."
The couple met in 2022 while working on Lovato's eighth studio album, "Holy Fvck." They married in May 2025 in Santa Barbara, California, in a ceremony attended by 135 guests. Lovato described the wedding in a Vogue profile as "full of love," with their friend Dave Osokow officiating the ceremony and making it a personal experience for everyone present.
