Delta Airlines has been recognized as the top airline for economy class snacks and beverages, according to a survey conducted by Point.me, a travel reward and search platform. The airline secured 30% of the vote and was the preferred choice across all age demographics.

Passengers favored Delta's snack selection, which includes items like Cheez-Its, Biscoff cookies, Sun Chips Minis, and MadeGood Granola Bars. Southwest Airlines and JetBlue tied for the second-place position. However, the survey also indicated that over 32% of Point.me members found Southwest's snack options, such as Stellar Pretzel Braids, Remy’s Grahams, and OREO cookies, to be the least appealing.

Coffee Preferences and Health-Conscious Options

Delta also excelled in providing GLP-1 and high-protein-friendly options, catering to a growing number of health-conscious flyers. For morning coffee, Delta's partnership with Starbucks earned the highest marks overall for best airline coffee. Elite flyers, defined as those who travel 10 or more times annually, however, expressed a strong preference for Alaska Airlines' collaboration with Stumptown Coffee.

Conversely, JetBlue's offering of Dunkin' coffee was ranked as the worst in-flight coffee by survey respondents.

The survey, which polled approximately 550 frequent Point.me members, highlighted the extensive travel experience of its participants. More than half of those surveyed fly at least five times a year, and two-thirds possess over 200,000 airline points, indicating a knowledgeable and experienced group of travelers.

Premium Class Offerings and Unpopular Snacks

For passengers in business class, Emirates received top honors for its dining experience, including breakfast and an extensive cocktail program featuring 18 premium options. Air France was singled out for its business-class wine selection, receiving 36.2% of the vote for its variety and 34.5% for the pour sizes.

American Express Centurion Lounges were named the best airport lounge bars. The survey also identified the most disliked snack and inconsiderate airplane etiquette, with tuna sandwiches being voted public enemy No. 1 by 40.6% of respondents. Hard-boiled eggs and messy liquids like soup followed as unpopular choices.
