Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has been enjoying a well-deserved break in Sardinia, Italy, following a demanding season that included club and international commitments. Rice shared moments from his downtime on Instagram, showcasing a luxury yacht trip with comedian James Corden and former West Ham teammate Mark Noble.

The midfielder documented his relaxation with a series of 12 photos, captioned simply as 'peace.' Among the images was one featuring Rice, Corden, and Noble at an Asian fusion restaurant named Nammos Baja on the Sardinian coast. Another photo showed Rice and Noble arm-in-arm with a large yacht in the background. Rice and Noble reportedly developed a friendship during England's Euro 2020 campaign.

Rice also posted pictures of a large cruise liner with a helicopter on its deck and a selfie from a jet ski. His family time was also highlighted, with photos of his three-year-old son, Jude, engaged in activities like kicking a football and fishing.

This break comes after a physically taxing period for Rice. He sustained a calf injury during the World Cup and later dealt with a neural issue affecting his hamstring and lower back, which at one point left him bedridden for three days. Despite these challenges, he played significant minutes in crucial matches for England.

Rice has since returned to pre-season training with Arsenal. Manager Mikel Arteta has noted Rice's positive mindset, with the player eager to reintegrate. Arsenal is preparing for the upcoming season, which includes a match against Manchester City in the Community Shield, followed by their Premier League opener against Coventry City on August 21.
