TV presenter Declan Donnelly has obtained planning permission to make a minor adjustment to a party room he is developing next to his west London residence. The proposal involves increasing the parapet height of the party space by approximately eight inches.
Donnelly acquired the neighboring property three years ago for £2.25 million. The existing party area is equipped with a custom bar, a vintage mirror, a fireplace, and bespoke seating.
Hounslow Council planners approved the variation, noting that the change would involve "high quality and conservation-appropriate architectural detailing." The council stated that the plan "remains limited in scope and does not alter the approved footprint, use, or overall form of the extension" and would not "harm the character of appearance" of the nearby conservation area.
Donnelly, 50, who is part of the presenting duo Ant and Dec, resides in west London with his wife Ali Astall and their two children. Their home was the target of a burglary attempt in Easter 2021, but the intruders left without gaining entry.
