Death Cab For Cutie Extends 2027 Tour, Announces Radio City Music Hall Date
The indie rock band will bring their "I Built You A Tower" tour to North America with additional dates, including a stop in New York City.
Death Cab For Cutie has added 23 new dates to their "I Built You A Tower" World Tour, extending the North American leg into spring 2027. The newly announced shows will take place from January through April 2027, with a significant stop at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on April 13.
The tour supports the band's eleventh studio album, also titled "I Built You A Tower," which was released on June 5. Pitchfork described the album as a mature and self-aware collection that evokes the band's earlier sound. The album features eleven tracks, including "Full of Stars," "Punching the Flowers," and the title track "I Built You A Tower (b)."
Fans can expect a setlist that includes fan favorites such as "Transatlanticism," "I Will Possess Your Heart," "Soul Meets Body," "I Will Follow You Into The Dark," and "Cath…," alongside material from the new album. Previous performances on the tour have featured between 20 and 25 songs per night.
Opening for Death Cab For Cutie on select dates will be Australian indie group Swapmeet, known for their blend of alt-rock and slowcore. Their recommended tracks include "I Know!," "Ceiling Fan," and "Halfway."
Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Secondary market tickets are available now through sites like Vivid Seats.
