David Walliams Spotted Publicly Amid 'Cancellation' Over Behavior Allegations
The comedian and author was seen in London with a female friend, his first public appearance since facing accusations of inappropriate behavior towards women and being dropped by his publisher.

David Walliams was seen in public in London on Tuesday, marking his first appearance since facing accusations of "inappropriate behaviour towards women" and subsequent "cancellation." The comedian and author, 55, was photographed having coffee with businesswoman Adrianna Martin.
Walliams appeared solemn during the outing, which also included his two Border Terriers. He was dressed casually in a beige jacket, black t-shirt, dark jeans, and white trainers. He and Martin were seen walking the dogs, and they shared a hug goodbye after their meeting.
This sighting comes after Walliams was dropped by his publishers, Harper Collins, in December. Reports of allegations of harassment and inappropriate behavior surfaced, which Walliams has strongly denied. A spokesman for Walliams previously stated that he had "never been informed of any allegations raised against him by Harper Collins."
Walliams has largely remained out of the public eye and away from social media since these events. His once-extensive workload has reportedly slowed significantly, with his calendar now seemingly focused on occasional corporate speaking engagements.
Earlier this year, the Daily Mail reported that Walliams was using the exclusive dating app Raya. His profile reportedly featured photographs of himself in a tuxedo and a humorous image with his "Little Britain" co-creator Matt Lucas as their characters Lou and Andy. The report noted that leaving his profile mostly blank, aside from his location and a link to his Instagram, was seen by some as a sign of his current social exclusion.
Once a prominent figure on red carpets and at after-parties, Walliams has faced a significant shift in his public image. His former associate noted that his presence on Raya demonstrated "just how the mighty fall." A former friend recalled Walliams being a "woman magnet" in the past, but suggested he is now struggling to find romance.
His legal battle with Fremantle, the makers of "Britain's Got Talent," over disparaging comments he made about contestants, also played a role in his public downfall. Although Walliams reportedly received an apology and substantial settlement from Fremantle, his career and public image have not recovered. Court papers in his case reportedly mentioned Walliams experiencing "active suicidal thoughts," with a consultant psychiatrist stating the leaked transcripts had a "profound, severe and, at times, very worrying effect on his mental health."
