David Walliams Spotted in London Amid 'Cancellation' Over Past Behavior

David Walliams was seen in London on Tuesday, marking his first public outing since facing allegations of inappropriate behavior towards women and being dropped by his publisher.

The 55-year-old comedian and author, who was previously a judge on "Britain's Got Talent," was photographed having coffee with businesswoman Adrianna Martin in the Pimlico area of the city. Walliams appeared somber during their conversation outside a cafe, accompanied by two of his Border Terriers.

The outing comes after reports surfaced earlier this year detailing accusations of harassment and "inappropriate behavior" against Walliams. He has denied these claims. In December, he was dropped by his publishers, Harper Collins. Despite these professional setbacks, Walliams was reportedly seeking romance on the dating app Raya, using profile pictures that included him in a tuxedo and with his "Little Britain" co-creator Matt Lucas.

Walliams's public image and career have been significantly impacted by these events. His workload has reportedly diminished, with his calendar now featuring only occasional corporate speaking engagements. His last previous public appearance was in January at a children's reading event in London, where he was noted to look downcast.

The controversy surrounding Walliams includes leaked transcripts from 2020, which reportedly revealed him using misogynistic language. Following the leak, he sued Fremantle, the makers of "Britain's Got Talent," for misuse of private information and breach of privacy laws. Court papers from his case reportedly stated Walliams was experiencing "active suicidal thoughts" and that the transcript leak had a "profound, severe and, at times, very worrying effect on his mental health."

While Walliams reportedly received an apology from Fremantle and a substantial settlement, his career and public perception have not recovered. The notes suggest a notable decline from his past prominence, with former associates describing him as once being a "woman magnet" who is now perceived as struggling and socially excluded. His former London home, where he lived with ex-wife Lara Stone and their son Alfred, was sold in 2019.

In contrast, his ex-wife Lara Stone has since remarried and appears to be living a content family life with her husband and their blended family in Hampstead.

A spokesperson for Walliams previously stated that he had never been informed of any allegations raised against him by Harper Collins. When contacted by the Daily Mail for this report, representatives for Walliams indicated he was not currently active on the Raya dating site.
