New York Fashion Week saw an event dubbed AT THE TABLE on September 9, which combined the industry's social gatherings with a charitable mission. WAVERS Crisps, by DOUGHBRIK’S, and the Goldburg Family Foundation hosted the evening at Ketchy Shuby, aiming to raise awareness for food insecurity and student support.

The event featured a cocktail hour, a family-style dinner, and an after-party, creating an atmosphere described as more akin to a connected dinner party than a typical Fashion Week stop. The initiative was organized by Tomorrow’s Group, handling branding, guest-list strategy, event curation, and public relations for WAVERS, DOUGHBRIK’S, and the Goldburg Family Foundation.

A Diverse Guest List

AT THE TABLE drew a mix of personalities from various fields. Attendees included social media personalities Dixie D’Amelio and Natalie Noel, New York Jets running back Breece Hall, Kendall Washington, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Shiggy, and reality television stars Jesse Solomon and Ben Waddell from Summer House. Other guests included creators Zach Dereniowski and Kit Keenan, and media personalities.

Culinary and Charitable Focus

The evening commenced at 7 p.m. with cocktails and a tasting of WAVERS's new crisp flavors. Guests were then served a family-style meal by Ketchy Shuby, which included rigatoni vodka, roasted chicken, and miso-glazed salmon.

David Dobrik and Jack Goldburg of Jack’s Dining Room were presented with a surprise dessert. Following the meal, the event transitioned into an after-party that continued late into the night.

The event also highlighted the Goldburg Family Foundation's initiatives, including its food pantry and scholarship programs, which aim to provide food assistance and educational opportunities to underserved students in New York.

WAVERS's New Offerings

WAVERS introduced its latest line of crisps, made with avocado oil and gluten-free ingredients. The new lineup features four flavors: Late Night Pizza, Spicy Pickle, Extra Cheesy, and Hot Honey. These are available in 4-ounce U.S. bags and 80-gram international bags.

Following the AT THE TABLE event, WAVERS and the Goldburg Family Foundation were scheduled to participate in the Yes Chef Food Fest at Citi Field in late September.

The AT THE TABLE event aimed to create a space where fashion and social circles intersected with a philanthropic purpose, using food as a central element to engage guests and promote the foundation's community programs.
