David Beckham Shares Heartwarming Selfie with Daughter Harper During 'Road Trip with Daddy'
The outing comes after Harper expressed frustration over a school makeup ban, coinciding with her burgeoning beauty brand endeavors.
David Beckham recently shared a collection of photos on his Instagram page, offering a glimpse into a father-daughter trip with his youngest child, Harper.
In one image, Beckham, 51, is seen receiving a kiss on the cheek from 15-year-old Harper as they pose for a selfie on a beach. The former footballer captioned the post "Road trip with Daddy," indicating they were making the most of a half-term break.
Victoria Beckham, Harper's mother, reacted to the post with a series of red heart emojis in the comments section.
The father-daughter getaway occurred shortly after Victoria revealed Harper's disappointment regarding a school policy that prohibits makeup. According to Victoria, Harper questioned why she wasn't allowed to "look her best" and asked her mother to contact the school on her behalf.
Harper herself is in the process of launching a beauty brand, reportedly named Harlo by Harper. Despite this, she is not permitted to wear makeup to school. Victoria shared this anecdote during a segment on the Today Show, where she described her daughter as being "really good at applying natural make-up."
Recently, Harper's efforts to trademark her beauty brand name in the U.S. faced a setback. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office refused registration, citing a likelihood of confusion with a previously registered mark for a dietary supplement company also named Harlo. The ruling noted that the addition of "BY HARPER" did not sufficiently distinguish Harper's mark.
However, Harper has experienced success with her brand in the UK, where her application was approved by the Intellectual Property Office. The teenage skincare brand is slated for launch in the latter half of next year, likely after Harper completes her GCSE exams.
The brand applications have been filed by Project Seven US Inc., a company managed by her parents. Financial filings indicate that Victoria Beckham has invested over $3 million into the venture. The company, H7B Ltd., was established in October 2024 and its name is a nod to Harper's full name, incorporating her middle name, Seven, which also references David Beckham's iconic jersey number and her birth weight and month.
