David Beckham Shares Beach Selfie with Daughter Harper Amidst Her Beauty Brand Setbacks

David Beckham shared a moment from a recent father-daughter trip, posting a selfie with his 15-year-old daughter Harper on Tuesday from a sun-drenched beach.

In the photo, Harper, wearing a white Henley shirt, planted a kiss on her father's cheek as they enjoyed what Beckham described as a 'Road trip with Daddy' during half-term.

The outing comes after Harper's mother, Victoria Beckham, revealed her daughter's distress over a school policy that prohibits makeup. Victoria recounted Harper’s plea, asking why she couldn't "look my best" and requesting her mother to contact the school. Victoria stated she could not intervene on her daughter's behalf.

Harper is currently in the process of launching her own beauty brand, reportedly named Harlo by Harper. However, the venture has encountered obstacles in the United States. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office refused to trademark the name, citing a likelihood of confusion with an existing trademark held by a dietary supplement company. The ruling noted that the shared word "HARLO" and the nature of the goods created a potential for consumer confusion.

Despite the setback in the U.S., Harper has secured trademark approval for her brand in the United Kingdom. The plan is to launch the teenage skincare line in the latter half of next year, following Harper's GCSE exams. She will turn 16 in July.

The trademark applications have been managed by Project Seven US Inc., a company overseen by her parents. Victoria Beckham has reportedly invested over $3 million into the brand, which was established in October 2024 by Victoria and Oliver Shipton. The company's name, H7B, is a nod to Harper's middle name, Seven, a reference to David Beckham's iconic jersey number for Manchester United and England, and also to her birth weight and birth month.
