David Beckham Expands Netflix Deal Following Documentary Success
The former soccer star is set to star in new content for the streaming giant, building on the success of his 2023 docuseries.

David Beckham is expanding his relationship with Netflix, with plans for new shows on the streaming platform following the significant success of his 2023 documentary, "Beckham." His business partner, Jamie Salter, confirmed the development, stating that the documentary series "drove his business through the roof."
Salter announced the new content deal at the Leaders Conference held at Stamford Bridge on Thursday. "You will definitely see him make more content. Content drives the message to the consumer," Salter explained.
The four-part "Beckham" series, released in October 2023, chronicled the soccer icon's personal and professional milestones, including his high-profile move to Real Madrid. The documentary attracted 3.8 million viewers in its opening week.
Following the success of David Beckham's series, his wife, Victoria Beckham, released her own three-part biographical documentary on Netflix on October 9, 2025. This series, produced by the same team, traced her journey from her time in the Spice Girls through her career as a fashion designer, also touching on her family life.
Reports indicate a substantial financial boost for the Beckham brand. "DRJB Holdings," which encompasses the Beckham brand, reported nearly £50 million in profits for 2025, a 46% increase from the previous year. Sales reportedly rose from £72.2 million to £84 million, with David Beckham himself receiving a £38.5 million payout from his sports, fashion, and media businesses.
In personal news, David Beckham has reportedly made efforts to mend his relationship with his son, Brooklyn Beckham. The former athlete "liked" an Instagram post featuring Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, attending the MESSIKA show in Paris. This gesture comes after Brooklyn Beckham reportedly released a statement in January denouncing his parents and distancing himself from "Brand Beckham."
