David and Victoria Beckham observed the recent solar eclipse from the deck of their $16 million yacht in the Mediterranean. The couple shared images of themselves wearing solar glasses as the moon obscured up to 96 percent of the sun.
During the celestial event, the Beckhams were reportedly "manifesting & making our wishes," with David posting a photograph of their crystal collection. However, astrologers, including Dr. Michael Lennox, have advised against manifesting during a solar eclipse, suggesting that the unpredictable energy could lead to unintended consequences. Lennox explained that "the light is blocked, then so is manifestation," likening the act to "shooting an arrow with your bow into a hurricane."
The eclipse coincided with the peak of the annual Perseids meteor shower. The Beckham family has been enjoying a summer getaway on their 130-foot yacht, named Seven, which they purchased in 2022. The vessel features five cabins, accommodating ten guests and seven crew members, along with a spa bath and a large garage.
Their son Romeo also shared his experience of watching the eclipse, noting that it preceded a friendly match for his favorite team, Arsenal. While the family has been together in the Mediterranean, their eldest son, Brooklyn, was reportedly holidaying with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and Elton John on a yacht nearby in the South of France, having previously avoided family gatherings in the U.S.
Youngest son Cruz is currently on tour in North America with his band, The Breakers, and therefore missed the family's summer trip.
