Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum Present United Front at VMAs Amidst Past Scandal

Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, made a joint appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2026, presenting a united front two years after the musician's public acknowledgment of infidelity. The couple, who have been married since 2003, attended the event at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater, with both opting for matching black attire. Grohl, known as the frontman for Foo Fighters and a former member of Nirvana, wore a leather jacket, turtleneck, and pants, while Blum chose a spaghetti-strap gown with a bubble skirt.

The public appearance comes two years after Grohl revealed in September 2024 that he had fathered a child outside of his marriage. He addressed the situation on Instagram, stating, "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness." In February 2025, it was confirmed that Jennifer Young was the mother of Grohl's fourth child.

Sources at the time indicated the scandal was difficult for Blum, with one insider telling People that she "doesn't trust Dave" and was not wearing her wedding ring. However, reports later suggested that Blum had forgiven Grohl, with a source telling US Weekly in March 2025 that she was "completely devastated by the situation but is standing by his side." The couple reportedly engaged in counseling, with Grohl working to regain Blum's trust.

At the VMAs, Grohl was also recognized with his Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear. The trio accepted the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, the ceremony's highest honor. During their acceptance speech, they paid tribute to former Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain, who died in 1994.

Grohl and Blum, who share daughters Violet Maye (20), Harper Willow (17), and Ophelia Saint (12), have been married for over two decades, tying the knot in August 2003.
