Shocking bodycam footage captured the moment two individuals scaling the Empire State Building were apprehended by the NYPD. The video shows officers reaching the antenna where Angela Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Kuznetsov, 32, were located.
An officer can be heard saying in the footage, "Hey I got eyes on ‘em." He then addresses the pair, stating, "How you doing? You can’t be up here!" Nikolau responded, "I’m okay."
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch shared the footage on social media, commending the work of the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit. The pair had reportedly recently become engaged.
