Danny Cipriani, the former England rugby player, and American actress AnnaLynne McCord, have revealed plans for two additional weddings following their recent nuptials in Los Angeles. The couple tied the knot in a backyard ceremony on Saturday, which was the first of three planned celebrations. The upcoming ceremonies are scheduled to take place in London and Cambodia.

Their wedding plans previously drew criticism after they launched a crowdfunding page to help fund their nuptials, a move described as 'tacky and distasteful' by some observers. The couple had requested donations from friends and family to cover their approximately £10,000 wedding costs through their wedding website.

McCord addressed the controversy, explaining that she believed the crowdfunding wish list was only visible to guests and did not realize it was publicly accessible. She stated that some individuals donated small amounts to leave negative comments, and the couple even received death threats.

Insiders noted that the crowdfunding request was particularly surprising given the couple's perceived lavish lifestyles. Cipriani, who earned 16 caps for England during his rugby career, is estimated to have earned around £4 million. McCord, known for her roles in television dramas like '90210,' is believed to have amassed a similar fortune.

The couple's wedding website, hosted on the Honeyfund platform, listed various elements of the ceremony for which they sought contributions, including flowers, the wedding cake, and reception drinks. The total requested amount reached approximately £10,660, excluding separate cash donation options.

McCord stated that the page was created in response to guests asking for gift ideas. She explained that she already had many household items and suggested that guests' contributions would be appreciated for elements of the big day. She expressed surprise when a co-star inquired about their wedding crowdfunding.

The Los Angeles ceremony was described as a low-key event attended by their U.S. friends and family. McCord wore a pastel, floral-embroidered gown with a cathedral-length veil, while Cipriani opted for a dark suit. The wedding party included 12 bridesmaids in mismatched blush pink dresses.

McCord, who now goes by 'Mrs AnnaLynne Cipriani,' shared her reflections on the wedding, calling it a 'timeless' and 'incredibly perfect' experience filled with positive energy.

The additional wedding in London is planned to allow more of Cipriani's family to attend, as the Los Angeles ceremony was organized on short notice. The couple first met on the dating app Raya about a decade ago and have had an on-again, off-again relationship, reconnecting in 2024 after previously dating and splitting multiple times. Cipriani was previously married to Victoria Rose, with whom he has a child.
