Danielle Peazer, Liam Payne's Ex, Engaged to Sonny Jay

Danielle Peazer, ex-girlfriend of the late Liam Payne, has announced her engagement to "Dancing on Ice" star Sonny Jay. The proposal took place in Ibiza, with the couple sharing the news on social media on Friday. Peazer and Jay have been in a relationship for over three years and share a two-year-old daughter.
Peazer posted a caption that read, "Here's to forever, with the one who made me believe in true love." Their announcement garnered congratulations from celebrity friends including Holly Ramsay, Mollie King, and Fleur East.
Sonny Jay previously ended his engagement to Lauren Faith 18 months before beginning his relationship with Peazer. In a 2022 Instagram post, Jay stated, "After five years of Lauren and I being together, we've decided that sadly we're parting ways. We have so much love and respect for each other and we will both continue to support each other in everything we do." He added that both needed to focus on themselves and their careers.
Danielle Peazer dated Liam Payne, a member of One Direction, for two years between 2010 and 2012. She revealed that Payne had contacted her weeks before his death in 2024 to express happiness for her upon the birth of her daughter with Jay. Payne died at the age of 31 in 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Peazer had previously shared a statement acknowledging the increased attention on her life following Payne's death. She thanked followers for their patience and expressed gratitude for the love sent her way, stating she was making the most of time with her baby daughter and family, and offered a message of support to those struggling: "Everything is just a phase."
