Daniel Vogelbach Serenades Brewers Fans with 'Stacy's Mom' After World Series Win

Milwaukee Brewers hitting coach Daniel Vogelbach provided an unforgettable moment for fans at the team's World Series championship rally by performing a karaoke rendition of Fountains of Wayne's "Stacy's Mom." The impromptu performance took place after the team's parade through the city on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.

Following the Brewers' historic World Series victory, which marked the franchise's first championship, the celebration continued with a parade and a rally at a lakeside park. Vogelbach, with a microphone in one hand and a beer in the other, delivered a spirited, albeit off-key, performance of the 2003 hit song. Thousands of fans were seen smiling, clapping, and singing along.

According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, Vogelbach's performance was not a spontaneous decision but a fulfillment of a pledge he made to sing "Stacy's Mom" if the Brewers clinched the championship. The hitting coach, who previously played for the Mets, was a key figure in Milwaukee's offense during the season. Despite the team ranking low in home runs, they finished second in runs scored and third in OPS.

Vogelbach's playing career, which spanned eight years, was characterized by a strong on-base percentage rather than power hitting. His .340 career OBP, including a .363 mark in two partial seasons with the Brewers, reflects his ability to get on base, a trait that mirrored the team's offensive approach.

The championship celebrations have been ongoing since the Brewers secured their victory on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Players reported getting minimal sleep in the days following the win. Other notable moments from the rally included pitcher Jacob Misiorowski chugging a fan-tossed beer and outfielder Garrett Mitchell posing for a photo with a baby from the crowd. Hall of Famer Robin Yount also made an appearance, arriving on stage via a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
