Daniel MacPherson and Jessica Dover Split After Three Years

Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson has split with his model girlfriend Jessica Dover, ending their relationship of more than three years. The pair, who met through mutual friends, quietly called time on their romance earlier this year.
Neither MacPherson nor Dover have issued a public statement confirming the split, but sources close to the couple noted they have unfollowed each other on social media. Their last public appearance together was in April at the Los Angeles premiere of MacPherson's film "Beast," which also stars Russell Crowe and Luke Hemsworth.
MacPherson, 46, who is based in Sydney, had been spending significant time in Adelaide, Dover's hometown, navigating the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Dover, a South Australian model, previously spoke about their initial connection, describing it as an almost instant attraction. She told The Advertiser that when they first met, they "spoke all night" and that their relationship began easily. Dover shared that both she and MacPherson, who both have children, were seeking a sense of calm in their lives.
Dover has a six-year-old son, Sebastian, with her ex-partner Jared Petrenko, and MacPherson has a son, Austin, also six, with his ex-wife Zoe Ventoura.
MacPherson had publicly discussed his relationship with Dover earlier in the year, noting how she was a great support to him. "There's lots of great stuff in my life. My relationship with Jess is one of those and we are a wonderful support to each other," he told The Daily Telegraph.
The couple made their relationship Instagram official in April 2023, following speculation that began when they were seen together at the races. Dover had shared photos celebrating MacPherson's birthday on Instagram, writing, "Happy Birthday @danmacpherson. Adore you."
MacPherson's romance with Dover began two years after his separation from actress Zoe Ventoura in December 2020, after five years of marriage. Both MacPherson and Ventoura announced their separation through nearly identical social media posts, stating they had mutually decided to part ways.
