Danica Patrick Details Fitness Regimen Amidst Public Remarks from Ex Aaron Rodgers
The former race car driver shared her nutrition and training secrets on social media, shortly after her ex-boyfriend made comments about their past relationship.
Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, 44, has revealed the details of her diet and fitness routine that contribute to her athletic physique, sharing her methods on Instagram.
Patrick's approach to maintaining her toned figure involves a high-protein diet, incorporating foods such as vegetables, sourdough bread, rice, and potatoes. She trains by lifting weights at most three times per week. Patrick noted that she took six weeks off from training over the summer without losing her progress, emphasizing that "It is much easier to keep muscle than build it. Put in the work."
Following her fitness disclosure, Patrick shared a relaxed moment at home, enjoying a glass of wine. This comes after a period of travel, including a recent vacation along the Amalfi Coast.
The public sharing of her fitness routine follows recent comments made by her ex-boyfriend, NFL player Aaron Rodgers, who discussed their past relationship on a podcast. Rodgers stated that Patrick was "depressed" during their relationship and that they experienced "intimacy" issues. He also refuted Patrick's previous claims that their relationship was "emotionally abusive."
Patrick and Rodgers dated from January 2018 until their split in July 2020. They purchased a home together in Malibu in late 2019. Rodgers, in his podcast appearance, questioned why Patrick was still discussing him years after their breakup and contested her narrative of their relationship's end.
