Dani Dyer's Father Danny Offers Support at 'Strictly Come Dancing' Premiere
The 'Love Island' star made her debut on the dance floor with partner Nikita Kuzmin, cheered on by her actor father.
Dani Dyer received a special showing of support from her father, actor Danny Dyer, at the premiere of the latest season of 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The 'Love Island' alum, who had to withdraw from the previous year's competition due to injury, successfully took to the dance floor on Saturday night with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin.
Dyer, 30, and Kuzmin, 28, performed a Samba to Zara Larsson's "Lush Life," earning a score of 22 points. Following their performance, Dyer shared backstage photos on Instagram with the caption, "No words for last night!" One of the shared images featured her with her father, Danny, 49, and Kuzmin.
Danny Dyer appeared in good spirits at the event, dressed in an all-black outfit and sunglasses. Also pictured in Dyer's Instagram post was Kuzmin's girlfriend, Lauren Jaine.
The season's opening night also saw a new presenting team, Josh Widdicombe, Emma Willis, and Johannes Radebe, take the helm. However, their setup drew mixed reactions from viewers, with some online comments suggesting that three hosts were not necessary and that Widdicombe appeared out of place.
Competitors will not face elimination this week, as the scores from the first week will be combined with those from the following week before the first elimination occurs next Sunday.
