Dane Belton is proving to be a valuable acquisition for the New York Jets, carving out a starting safety position and contributing significantly with 38 tackles this season. This success comes after four seasons largely spent in the background with the New York Giants.
Teammates have expressed admiration for Belton's play. "The Bounty Hunter? That’s Bounty Hunter Dane right there," Jarvis Brownlee Jr. told The Post, explaining the nickname. "All he does is hunt. And he’s gonna hit you so you better get out of the way. I love being on the field with that guy. Just the energy he brings, the way he plays the game, the style he plays with, you couldn’t ask for no better safety to be on the field with."
