Dancing With the Stars Pros Confirm Relationship
Adele Zaikman and Allen Genkin, who competed against each other on a spinoff, announced their relationship on social media.
Adele Zaikman, a professional dancer on "Dancing With the Stars," has confirmed her romance with Allen Genkin, a fellow competitor from the spinoff series "Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro." The couple made their relationship public in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, coinciding with Zaikman's 25th birthday.
The celebratory post featured a series of photos showcasing the couple in close embraces and demonstrating public displays of affection. Genkin penned a heartfelt message for Zaikman, calling her the "most beautiful queen" and expressing his wish for her happiness, health, love, and success. He noted that Zaikman has inspired many and that meeting her has been the best thing to come out of their time on "The Next Pro." Genkin described their connection as "something special" and declared himself "the happiest and luckiest man in the world."
Zaikman emerged as the winner of "The Next Pro" in late August, securing a spot as a professional dancer on "Dancing With the Stars" Season 35. She was paired with actor Conner Leavitt, known for his role in "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives." However, their journey on the main show was brief, as they were eliminated during the season premiere.
Fellow "Dancing With the Stars" cast members reacted positively to the public announcement. Pro dancer Emma Slater expressed her excitement about the "hard launch," while former pro Peta Murgatroyd commented, "Well this is hot 🔥."
Zaikman's season partner, Leavitt, also shared his thoughts, joking about no longer needing to keep their connection a secret. He had spoken highly of Zaikman after their elimination, calling her the "greatest dance partner in the world" and expressing anticipation for the world to see her talent. Zaikman herself described performing in the ballroom as a "dream come true."
