Damon Dash confronted Charlie Zakkour after Zakkour made inappropriate comments about Dash's daughter, Ava Dash, during the filming of Bravo's reality series "Next Gen NYC," according to Ava.

Ava Dash, who stars on the show, stated that her father "was not a fan" of Zakkour's remarks about her body from the first season. She told Decider that her father had a conversation with Zakkour, telling him, "No more of that."

Despite the incident, Ava Dash indicated that Zakkour has since shown respect for her boundaries. "If you give him a boundary, he’ll stay within it. Or at least that’s my experience with him," she said, adding that Zakkour has "cooled out a lot."

In addition to addressing the conflict with Zakkour, Ava Dash discussed her increased presence in "Next Gen NYC" Season 2, her eviction notice, and rumors surrounding her and "Summer House" star Kyle Cooke. She explained that she was initially hesitant to be vulnerable on camera in the first season but aimed to open up more in the current season. She also clarified her initial thoughts on co-star Ariana Madix's breakup with Tom Sandoval, admitting she initially suspected it might be a publicity stunt due to the timing of their announcement but later realized it was genuine.

Dash also touched on a dispute with fellow cast member Gia Giudice regarding Teresa Giudice's social media activity. Dash claimed Teresa Giudice unfollowed her on Instagram, which Giudice initially denied. Dash later presented evidence, and Giudice apologized, stating she was unaware of the unfollow. The "Next Gen NYC" star said she and Giudice have since reconciled.

"Next Gen NYC" airs on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream the following day on Peacock.
