Dakota Johnson Celebrates 37th Birthday in NYC with Jennifer Lawrence

Dakota Johnson celebrated her 37th birthday on Sunday evening at the New York City restaurant Via Carota. The celebration followed her hosting appearance on "Saturday Night Live" the previous night.

Johnson was seen in a black dress with sheer lace panels, paired with a fur-trimmed leather coat and heels. She accessorized with layered necklaces, a bedazzled bag, and a red manicure and pedicure. Her bodyguard was later observed carrying a bouquet of flowers and a shopping bag.

Among the attendees at the West Village hotspot was actress Jennifer Lawrence, who celebrated Johnson's birthday alongside her husband, Cooke Maroney. Lawrence, 36, wore a white t-shirt, a patterned skirt, a sheer black cardigan, and animal-print slides. Maroney, 42, was dressed casually in an unbuttoned dress shirt and slacks.

While fellow actress Taylor Swift was not present at the birthday dinner, she had made an appearance during Johnson's "SNL" monologue on Saturday night. Swift, 34, joined Johnson on stage after the host mentioned her supportive friends. Johnson humorously introduced Swift as her "literal therapist," to which Swift playfully responded about Johnson's frequent visits to her home.

Later in the "SNL" show, Swift presented Johnson with a blue birthday cake. Johnson and Swift have known each other for approximately a decade and have collaborated on Swift's "Patient Zero" music video.
