Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly’s Romance Continues to Heat Up With Los Angeles Outings
The pair were photographed leaving a music studio and later seen departing a Hollywood hotspot.
Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly's burgeoning romance was on full display as they were seen together during a day and night out in Los Angeles. The couple was photographed leaving a music studio on Friday morning, appearing close as they navigated the area.
Johnson, 37, opted for a casual ensemble, wearing jeans, a long black leather coat, and black flats, with a gray sweater draped over her shoulders. Meanwhile, Machine Gun Kelly, 36, sported a denim-on-denim outfit, paired with a white tank top and brown boots. The rapper, born Colson Baker, was also observed assisting Johnson into his vehicle.
Later that evening, Johnson and MGK were spotted departing the Chateau Marmont around 11:30 p.m. They were photographed sitting side-by-side in the back of a car, seemingly wearing the same outfits from earlier in the day. MGK had removed his denim jacket, revealing his tattooed arms and a smile.
The pair first ignited dating rumors last month when they were seen exiting an SUV together in New York City. Their destination was reportedly Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment, though the singer was not present.
Sources indicated a strong connection between Johnson and MGK, noting "definitely chemistry" and that he "thinks she’s really cool" and is "attracted to her." The insider added that it was "new and they're just getting to know each other," but "there was definitely something there."
Last week, MGK was photographed outside Johnson's house after a studio session, with his car remaining there the following morning, suggesting he had stayed overnight.
This new relationship follows Johnson's split from musician Role Model less than a year after they began dating. Machine Gun Kelly ended his engagement with Megan Fox in 2024.
Reports suggest that Fox is "completely unbothered" by MGK's new romance with Johnson and has "no interest in getting involved in his love life." According to sources, Fox has "completely cut MGK off," and they only communicate for co-parenting their one-year-old daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker. Fox is reportedly "relieved he’s moving on" and "doesn’t want him back."
