Daisy Edgar-Jones Shines at "Sense & Sensibility" Premieres

Actress Daisy Edgar-Jones attended multiple premieres for the new adaptation of "Sense & Sensibility" this week, making notable fashion statements at each event.

On Thursday evening, Edgar-Jones arrived at the Irish premiere in Dublin wearing a white satin maxi dress. The gown featured textured detailing on the back that resembled angel wings. The screening took place at the Stella Cinema Rathmines, a location significant to Edgar-Jones as it was where she filmed much of her role in "Normal People." She styled her brunette hair in a slightly undone updo and accessorized with pearl drop earrings.

Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, Edgar-Jones opted for a more daring ensemble at a special screening in London. She wore a black lacy dress that revealed pink lingerie underneath, paired with stiletto heels. Her hair was worn loose, complemented by soft makeup and minimal accessories. She was joined at this event by co-star Esmé Creed-Miles.

On Tuesday night, both Edgar-Jones and Creed-Miles, who plays her on-screen sister Marianne, attended the London premiere at Leicester Square. Edgar-Jones wore a plunging satin Vivienne Westwood gown with bow detailing and a leg slit, accessorized with 149-year-old Boucheron archive jewelry. Creed-Miles chose a white skirt and a cropped black blazer.

"Sense & Sensibility," based on Jane Austen's novel, follows the story of three Dashwood sisters and their mother navigating societal expectations, love, and heartbreak after their father's death. The film highlights the contrasting approaches to romance taken by the sisters: Elinor, guided by practicality, and Marianne, driven by passion. The adaptation is set to be released in the UK on September 25.
