Dairy Queen Launches First Halloween-Themed Menu
The fast-food chain introduces the "Spellbound Series" with new drinks, desserts, and collectible merchandise.
Dairy Queen is embracing the spooky season with its first-ever Halloween-themed menu, dubbed the "Spellbound Series." The limited-time offerings include a new beverage, a dessert, and a spicy sauce, alongside collectible merchandise.
The featured drink is the Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler, a combination of blood orange and lemonade with sparkling water, served over ice and topped with cold foam. Dairy Queen suggests stirring the drink to activate its bubbling and foaming effect.
Also new is the Enchanted Oreo Blizzard Treat, a Halloween twist on the chain's signature blended soft-serve. This version incorporates Oreo cookies, an ube-flavored base, and a purple shimmer.
Rounding out the new additions is a Ghost Pepper Sauce, designed to complement the four-piece Chicken Strip Basket.
For collectors, Dairy Queen is offering a limited-edition Blizzard Buddy keychain plushie for $4, with a limit of one per customer. These come in mystery packaging, with five different characters to collect: Brrrnie, Blizabeth, Blenda, Flip, and Goldie. The rarest character, Goldie, offers a special prize: ten fans in the U.S. and ten in Canada who find it will receive a year's worth of Blizzard treats in the form of DQ gift cards.
The Spellbound Series will be available from September 28 to November 1.
This seasonal menu launch occurs amid recent challenges for the Dairy Queen brand, which has seen the closure of at least 46 locations nationwide since early 2025. Three locations in Alaska recently closed in July, leaving only one DQ establishment in the state.
