The Daily Mail has introduced a new daily word puzzle game called Relink, available on its website and mobile application. The game is designed to challenge players' cognitive abilities by requiring them to identify common themes and uncover hidden connections between words.
Relink presents players with a grid of 16 words or phrases, arranged in four rows of four. In each row, three of the words share a commonality, and the player's task is to identify the fourth word, the 'imposter,' that does not fit the pattern. The puzzle's core mechanic, from which it derives its name, involves finding a link or theme that connects the four identified 'imposter' words.
The game offers players four lives, and the objective is to maintain a daily streak and compare scores with friends. Relink is featured in the Daily Mail's Games section, which hosts over 20 free-to-play games, including quizzes, word games, Sudoku, and crosswords. The publication indicated that more brainteasers are planned for release in the coming months.
