The Daily Mail has now stated that while Mr. Adderley holds strong views on Israel and Zionism, he did not make these specific statements suggesting support for terrorism or hatred of Jews.
The publication also corrected information about a YouTube channel run by Mr. Adderley and Ms. Sawalha. The original article implied that Ms. Sawalha fully supported her husband's alleged statements, which could have suggested her endorsement of the wrongly attributed content. The Daily Mail has apologized to Mr. Adderley and Ms. Sawalha for the error and any distress caused.
