Cynthia Bailey, star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," described a surprising lack of recognition from Vicki Gunvalson during the filming of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th." Bailey recounted the incident, stating that Gunvalson appeared to have "no idea" who she was when they encountered each other at a party.

Bailey, 59, shared in an interview with Page Six's “Virtual Reali-Tea” that Gunvalson, 64, did not recognize her because Bailey was dressed as her male alter ego, "50 Cynt." This persona was created by Bailey for a Halloween party in Season 10 of "RHOA."

Bailey said she was taken aback, especially as they were filming at a party in Atlanta. She eventually had to introduce herself, saying, "Vicki, it’s Cynthia." Gunvalson then responded with surprise, "Cynthia?" prompting Bailey to clarify, "Bailey … from the Atlanta Housewives." Gunvalson reportedly exclaimed, "Oh, my God! I didn’t know who you were!"

This is not the first instance of Gunvalson mistaking a fellow "Real Housewives" cast member. In an earlier episode of "RHUGT: Roaring 20th," Gunvalson mistakenly identified "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Crystal Kung Minkoff as Sutton Stracke. Minkoff noted that she had even previously appeared on Gunvalson's podcast.

"Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th" is celebrating the franchise's 20th anniversary with a cross-country road trip featuring notable cast members. Gunvalson, a staple of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" before her departure in 2020, returned to Bravo for this milestone season. She stars in the series alongside Lisa Barlow, Gizelle Bryant, Teresa Giudice, Porsha Williams, and Kyle Richards. The show features cameos from over 80 "Real Housewives" as the women travel across various cities. "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th" airs Sundays on Bravo, with new episodes available on Peacock the following day.
