A dispute over a birthday discount at a Jersey Mike's restaurant in Baltimore escalated into a profanity-filled confrontation, according to a customer who recorded the incident. The customer, identified as Miesha, claims she was met with aggressive behavior and insults from staff when attempting to redeem a birthday offer via the Jersey Mike's mobile app.

Miesha stated that the experience, which was intended to be a birthday celebration, turned into a "humiliating confrontation" and an "utterly disgusting" ordeal. She alleges that one male employee, who identified himself as "David," repeatedly used expletives, including telling her to "Get the fk out" and "F* your birthday." The employee also allegedly called her "broke." Miesha shared footage of the exchange, which she posted on Instagram, tagging the company and the specific Baltimore location. She claimed the incident unfolded in front of other customers, some of whom reportedly left the restaurant.

"No customer should have to experience this in an establishment that is supposed to be welcoming and provide good customer service," Miesha stated. She contrasted this experience with her birthday visits to other businesses like Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, and Sephora on the same day, where she reported no issues redeeming offers or receiving courteous service. Miesha described the alleged treatment as "completely unacceptable" and stated she left feeling "embarrassed, humiliated and disrespected." She has indicated her intention to pursue legal action over the incident.

While Jersey Mike's has not yet issued a public statement regarding the specific incident, the customer indicated via social media that the company had been in touch to address the situation. The Daily Mail has reached out to both Miesha and Jersey Mike's for comment.
