Cruz Hewitt, the 17-year-old son of Australian tennis veterans Lleyton and Bec Hewitt, has reportedly formed a close bond with Roger Federer's twin daughters, Myla and Charlene. The teenagers have been seen together on multiple occasions, including at the Australian Open in January and Wimbledon last month.

This proximity has fueled speculation that Hewitt might be considering a move to Switzerland, where the Federer twins reside with their father. Sources suggest Hewitt is keen on potentially advancing his tennis career under Federer's mentorship while also remaining close to his friends. An insider told Woman's Day that the Federers "adore him and Cruz thinks it could be a win-win. Be close to the girls but also have Roger as a mentor."

However, Hewitt's parents, Lleyton and Bec, are reportedly hesitant about him relocating abroad. Lleyton Hewitt, a former world No. 1, is said to be concerned that potential distractions could impact his son's tennis training. The insider indicated that while Lleyton is not ruling out the possibility of a Swiss move, he wants Cruz to prove his dedication by focusing on his training first.

Lleyton Hewitt has previously spoken about the demanding nature of a professional tennis lifestyle and the sacrifices made by his wife, Bec. He acknowledged her role as the family's anchor, supporting their frequent moves across the globe for his own career and now for Cruz's burgeoning journey in the sport. The couple also have two daughters, Mia, 20, and Ava, 15.
