Cruz Beckham, 21, reunited with his family on Wednesday aboard the family's yacht in Portofino, Italy, during their Mediterranean summer holiday. This reunion marks Cruz's return after touring North America with his band, The Breakers.
He joined his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and younger sister Harper, 15, along with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, to watch a solar eclipse. Cruz was seen shirtless, displaying a tattooed torso that drew comparisons to his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham, 27. Brooklyn has reportedly begun altering some of his tattoos dedicated to family members, including one for his mother, Victoria.
This family gathering occurred while Brooklyn remains estranged from his parents. He confirmed the estrangement in a January statement, declaring he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham" and describing his parents and siblings as "performative." The brothers, Cruz and Brooklyn, share a "brotherhood" tattoo on their legs, a tribute inked in 2023.
David and Victoria Beckham had been in the United States prior to their European holiday, attending the World Cup with Romeo, Kim, Harper, Cruz, and Jackie Apostel. Despite living in California, Brooklyn did not join them. Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn reportedly blocked his parents on Instagram, and his legal team has since managed communication with the Beckham family.
The Beckham family's yacht is valued at £16 million. While the family vacationed in the Mediterranean, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were seen holidaying on Elton John's yacht nearby in Nice. Elton John has maintained a friendship with David Beckham for over 30 years, with David referring to the musician as 'Uncle Elton'.
