An advertisement featuring President Donald Trump with the song "Love Me" playing has been observed on cable television, accompanied by a disclaimer stating it was "Paid for by the U.S. government." The ad, which includes clips of Trump and praise from UFC president Dana White from the 2024 Republican National Convention, has been described by critics as propaganda.

One observer, CBS News Miami investigative reporter Jim DeFede, shared a video of the ad on social media. The ad juxtaposes Trump's statements against communism with images of him and the repeated refrain "love me" from the song by JMSN. It is unclear if the artist granted permission for the song's use.

Unlike typical public service announcements, the ad does not appear to promote a public cause or initiative. Instead, its structure and content, particularly the inclusion of White's RNC remarks, lead observers to view it as a campaign advertisement funded by federal government resources. This has prompted strong reactions, with some critics labeling it "fascist propaganda" and comparing it to "Dear Leader" propaganda videos. Concerns have also been raised about the use of taxpayer money for what is perceived as a personal campaign ad, breaking norms and laws, and a general sense of corruption.

This ad emerged shortly after President Trump hosted Chinese leader Xi Jinping, an event where Trump reportedly rolled out a red carpet. The ad includes Trump stating, "America will never be a communist country."
