Craig Carton, a prominent afternoon drive-time host at WFAN, is joining OutKick to host a new sports and culture show, the platform announced this week. "The Craig Carton Show" is scheduled to debut on September 8, with new episodes airing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Carton's arrival coincides with OutKick's upcoming integration with Fox News Digital, which is set to become official on August 24. This move signifies an expansion of Fox News Digital's sports media presence.

OutKick will also unveil a new logo and the tagline "Where Sports and Culture Collide." Fox News Digital Editorial Executive Vice President Tommy Firth stated that the integration with Fox News Digital will "expand its reach and influence throughout sports media."

Carton, who has hosted "The Carton Show" on WFAN with Chris McMonigle, expressed his long-standing admiration for OutKick. "I've admired Outkick from afar for years and being able to join the team is something I’m truly excited about," Carton said. He will continue to broadcast his WFAN show.

The new show on OutKick will focus on national sports and culture stories and include weekly guest interviews. Carton, a New York sports radio personality for many years, was inducted into the New York State Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame in 2024. He previously co-hosted WFAN’s "Boomer & Carton" for a decade. He also co-hosts the weekly video podcast "The Joint Venture Show" with rapper Lil Wayne, covering sports, music, entertainment, and pop culture.

This development follows the departure of OutKick founder Clay Travis in June, as the platform became a vertical within Fox News Digital. Travis, who launched OutKick in 2011, remains a Fox News Media contributor and has since launched a new media venture, Sport & State, which covers sports, pop culture, and politics. Sport & State officially debuted on August 19.

OutKick has reported significant audience growth, with Comscore figures from July indicating 10.9 million unique desktop and mobile visitors, a 94% increase year-over-year. Total multiplatform views rose 138% to 55 million, and minutes surged 201% to 66 million.

In addition to Carton's show, OutKick is planning further content expansions in the fall, including "OutKick University" focused on college campuses during football season, an outdoors vertical named "OutKick OutDoors," and a professional wrestling hub called "OutKick Dropkick." The company also plans to release an animated series, "Sports Talk with Cal McCallister."
