Liz Masding, 44, and Mike Markham-Lee, 43, chose a dragon boat as their wedding transport in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Masding, an avid dragon boat paddler, incorporated her hobby into the celebration.

"I didn't want a wedding car," Masding stated. "I wanted to arrive or depart or have the dragon boat involved somehow. So yes, the, the first step in all the planning was to check out the tide timetable."

Mascoulding has been a keen dragon boat paddler and has introduced her partner to the sport. The couple's decision to use a dragon boat required careful coordination with tidal schedules.

The wedding party utilized the dragon boat for their arrival at the reception, a choice that deviated significantly from traditional wedding transportation methods. The crew of the dragon boat held their paddles in the air to form a tunnel for the couple as they disembarked.
