Country music artist Tyler Hubbard recently experienced an unexpected turn of events during a family camping vacation when a fish hook became lodged in his scalp. The incident was documented by Hubbard's wife, Hayley, in a video shared on Instagram.
In the clip, Hayley is seen working to remove the fish hook while their three children offer encouragement. "Wow, those little barbs really work," she remarked as she assessed the situation. Hubbard, despite the painful predicament, remained calm, admitting "Kinda does" when asked by one of his children about the pain level.
Hayley eventually managed to free the hook, exclaiming, "Oh, we got it!"
The family was on a four-day camping trip, traveling in their Airstream. Despite the medical mishap, the vacation included other activities such as fishing, swimming, boating, rafting, and observing a bald eagle. Hayley Hubbard shared in a separate post that the memories made were worth the efforts involved in camping, adding, "next time we’ll try to avoid fish hooks in the head."
