Country singer Ella Langley firmly rejected a fan's attempt to ask her out on a date during a recent concert, with the interaction captured in a viral TikTok video. The incident occurred after Langley's show in Knoxville, Tennessee, on September 24.
In the video, a fan, identified by his TikTok username Tiki, can be heard asking Langley through a fence, "Ella, how many likes to take you on a date?" The 27-year-old "Choosin' Texas" hitmaker responded with a visibly disappointed look, stating, "Not enough in the world," before turning away.
Tiki, who posted the video, humorously captioned it with "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." He later shared another video featuring a comment purportedly from Langley, which read, "This was definitely meant as dark humor, and it obviously didn’t land due to my face. I will say, it takes more than likes on a tik tok. I’m still human." The comment has since reportedly been deleted.
The viral exchange comes amid reports that Langley is dating fellow country music singer Tucker Wetmore. Sources confirmed to People magazine that the two were seen leaving the Nashville Songwriter Awards together on September 22, after The Sun initially reported their burgeoning relationship. Photos published by TMZ appeared to show the artists exiting the Ryman Auditorium together.
Insiders told TMZ that Langley and Wetmore's relationship has been developing for some time and that they were introduced through mutual friends in the music industry. Langley recently also shared a TikTok video of herself confronting her fears, including holding a snake and interacting with exotic animals.
