The satirical candidate known as Count Binface has declared his intention to stand against Nigel Farage in an upcoming by-election, following Farage's announcement that he will leave his Clacton constituency to contest the vote.

Count Binface, whose real name is Jonathan Harvey, announced his candidacy by posting "Game on, Nige" online. He is one of the few individuals who have stated they will run against Farage in the contest. Notably, the Labour, Conservative, and Liberal Democrat parties have indicated they will not field their own candidates for this particular by-election.

When asked about his policy proposals, Binface told the BBC's Today programme that he advocates for "Get at least one affordable house, nationalising Adele and bring back Ceefax." Other potential candidates have yet to confirm their participation in the election.
