Costco Offers Disneyland Ticket Deal With Park Hopper and Dining Credit
The bundled package includes a two-day Park Hopper ticket, Lightning Lane access, and a $60 dining card for $329.99, available at select California locations.
Costco is offering a new ticket deal for Disneyland visitors that combines park admission with additional perks, though some restrictions apply. The package, available at select Costco stores in California, includes a two-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket, a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and a $60 dining card, all for $329.99.
Disneyland Resort officials confirmed the offer, which began rolling out last week. This limited-time deal has drawn attention online as consumers compare its price to purchasing tickets directly from Disneyland. A standard two-day Park Hopper ticket for one adult is currently listed on Disneyland's website at $445, not including Lightning Lane access, with prices subject to change. The Costco package is approximately $115 less than the direct purchase price, though the terms and conditions differ.
The offer comes as Disneyland recently adjusted some of its ticket prices. Single-day tickets in the mid-tier price range increased by $5, while the lowest ($104) and highest ($224) priced tickets remained unchanged. The cost for a single-day Lightning Lane access can now reach $38, an increase of $1, and the Park Hopper add-on for single-day tickets saw a $5 increase, ranging from $10 depending on the date. Prices for multi-day tickets were not affected by these changes.
Hugh Johnston, CFO of The Walt Disney Company, stated at a recent conference that the company aims to keep ticket prices accessible, especially for younger families, by offering lower rates during off-peak periods. "It's something that we're acutely sensitive to because we want to make sure we continue to bring young families, in particular, into the parks and develop that Disney love, right?" Johnston said. "So we're super sensitive to the fact that, particularly in the value times of the year, we keep those ticket prices relatively low so that we can actually encourage those young families to come in."
The Costco ticket is valid for use between October 2 and December 18. Once a guest uses the ticket for the first time, the second park day must be utilized within 13 days. Theme park reservations are required for each visit, and the ticket is nonrefundable. Both days of the ticket must be used by the same individual.
The bundled deal has elicited varied responses from Disney fans. Some have expressed concerns about the overall cost of park visits, while others view the package as a favorable offer. The promotion is currently available only at select Costco locations within California.
