Coronation Street Star Jack P. Shepherd Reveals Results of Third Hair Transplant

Coronation Street actor Jack P. Shepherd has proudly showcased the results of his third hair transplant, four months after the procedure. Shepherd, who plays David Platt in the ITV soap, has undergone hair restoration surgery twice before, in 2018 and again in December 2019.

Shepherd shared his progress on Instagram, running his fingers through his hair and expressing satisfaction with the regrowth. He mentioned that the hair is expected to reach full growth within approximately six months, around December, humorously noting he might be able to sport a hairstyle reminiscent of Elvis Presley.

He explained that subsequent hair transplants are often necessary because baldness can continue to progress over time. Shepherd stated that his procedures have primarily focused on the front and other specific sections of his scalp.

Earlier this year, Shepherd had to shave his head for the procedure. He revealed his shaved head to co-stars Ben Price and Colson Smith, who play his on-screen brother Nick Tilsley and Craig Tinker, respectively. His co-stars reacted with surprise and amusement to his freshly shaved scalp.

Shepherd decided to undergo the procedure when he noticed his hair thinning. He took advantage of a break during his wife Hanni's maternity leave to have the surgery.

He acknowledged that his wife was initially concerned about the timing of the transplant, particularly regarding how he would look when their child arrived.
